Hey bro! Could we get a video explaining how to hardware unlock rekordbox with our controllers. I have ddj flx 10 but when I’m not connected to my controller all of the premium stuff doesn’t work. I added my controller to my account as registered so not sure why it’s not working

Th aka for your video I bought the RX3 standalone system a few years ago and just getting round to using it without a laptop… my question is… I have a folder with 200 mashups in, now I download new ones say 20. Once I add them to the folder in collection I have to export them to the usb like the start but would my 20 newly added songs be there as when you export to usb you have to check the box you want to export.

WOW Chris, really impressive work all round, now I'm hoping a bit of cheap but honest flattery has warmed you up to answering a simple question about running your delete shortcut... when one runs this and navigates to the m3u8 file, if I open it it goes straight to itunes. what do I have to do to make this godsend of a tool work? thanks so much for this shortcut. its beyond me

Hi Chris! I have a big problem to unlock the free plan features. I can’t register at Owner / Product Register because is greyed out. When I plug my FLX10, the features are unlock and at the bottom right of the screen shows an upgrade plan window and is annoying. When the FLX10 is unplug the features are lock again and I can’t still make the “owner registration” and the same window shows up. Please help!

Hi Chris, i would really really liked to do the step 5 and delete songs from collection from RB also from my computer. I made a playlist (not intelligent playlist tho) that i put songs i dont want anymore in it, right click and selected the same option as you that make a m3u8 file but when i delete this file it doesnt delete my songs from my computer. I dont have a Mac and dont have shortcut apps. Can you help with this ? Thank you :)

On the other hand I’d also like to mention the video felt a bit chaotic and hard to follow at certain points. Maybe incorporate an introductory what’s to come, and include an overview of the segments you’re talking about throughout the video? That they dropped all support for users with older CPUs was the last straw for me. I will actively avoid AlphaTit for the rest of my life and only use RB to prep for gigs where I can't use my own gear.

Can you save the zoom of the waveform? On the RX3 I zoom in all the way but when I turn it off/on again it's zoomed out. I see no setting for that on the device itself or in Rekordbox :(

I don't use Rekordbox, but it seems that Alpha Theta is the new Windows in DJing: they break ot overcomplicate simple tasks, whereas they don't upgrade or fix what they need to. I read a comment asking who decides to implement these changes. Most part if big companies have their own IT department. The leader takes into consideration the needs of the software. The project leader and customer leader usually talk about features. Then a draft is made which indications on how to change the code. Then programmers do the job. DJs should be taken into consideration as they're their target customers, but they don't usually listen to us 😅 Which is your opinion about Serato and Engine new updates?
